?Explore the Upper Irrawaddy or its great tributary the Chindwin this winter season on a Pandaw small ship. Leave behind the tourist tracks and see the real Burma, still pristine and beautiful and tranquil as ever far from changes taking place in the cities and far from any trouble spots.
The five cabin Pandaw owner's yacht, the Kalay Pandaw, plies from Pagan to Katha twice a month taking in the dramatic 2nd Defile. The ten cabin Zawgyi plies 400 miles of the Chindwin from Monyawa to Mawlaik visiting arcadian countryside and pleasant riverine towns that have rarely been visited by foreign travellers.
We are offering one free night in the Mandalay Hill Resort, which includes transfers but not main meals or excursions in those cities. The offer expires on 30 September.
