There is more romantic way to travel from Rangoon aboard Pandaw's 1960's classic motor yacht, the MY Andaman Explorer, exploring Burma's undiscovered south and the Mergui archipelago in comfort and style.

Located in southernmost part of Burma, over 800 remote and beautiful islands alive with an amazing diversity of flora & fauna and thriving a marine life. The only human inhabitants in the area are sea gypsies who live on boats during dry season and still practice the same fishing and boat building techniques used for generations.

Following the success of this year's programme, we are pleased to launch our popular 10-night 3 country expedition of the Upper Mekong aboard the Laos Mekong from Vientaine to Chiang Saen (and vv).

We traverse Laos to touch Thailand and Burma at the once notorious Golden Triangle. From Vientiane, the old French capital, and so redolent of L'Indochine we stop two nights at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang with its dazzling wood carved monasteries and then on deep into the mountains, through rapids and gorges on our high powered little Pandaw. Visit tribal villages and explore into jungle and countryside.

There can be few rivers in the world so revered as the sacred Ganges ' and perhaps few as charming as the Hooghly. Our upstream arrangement explores both rivers journeying from Kolkata through beautiful scenery and wonderful 'off the beaten track' rural villages, visiting stunning palaces, stupas, gardens and ancient battlefields all the way to Patna. And along the way, aboard our comfortable partner ship, the MV Rajmahal, your knowledgeable and friendly hosts will reveal India's incredible and glorious history. A wonderful exploration of the rivers of India awaits.

From Patna, we travel by coach to Bodhgaya and visit the striking Mahabodhi Temple. We then fly to Varanasi for a two-night stay, including a fabulous sunrise boat trip passing the famous Ghats on the Ganges.
