Then we explore the temples, palaces and artisanal villages dotted along the Hooghly River as it traverses the lush West Bengal countryside populated by the friendliest people imaginable.

This is a new route designed to enable passengers to avoid the high cost of Indian hotels and fly in and join ship directly from the airport and likewise fly out directly. On the 10th day passengers may stay on board till evening as international flights from Kolkata only go in the wee small hours.
