Pandaw sets sail in Thailand

This week welcomed the beginning of our sailing season on the Upper Mekong between Thailand and Laos with the departure of the 10 cabin RV Laos Pandaw. A full contingent of Pandaw Members were welcomed aboard by purser Mr Say following transfers from Chiang Mai and were treated to a special traditional Thai performance over welcome cocktails.

After crossing into Laos along the Mekong River, our unique 10-night itinerary has taken in rural Laotian villages, The Buddhist sanctuary of Pak Ou caves as well as one of the highlights of the trip, a visit to The Mekong Elephant Park, a certified elephant rescue sanctuary.

Docked in the UNESCO Heritage City of Luang Prabang for 3 nights, RV Laos Pandaw will continue downstream with guests departing in Vientiane to top off a full Laotian adventure by river.
