At Pandaw we always strive to provide travellers with unique experiences along the waterways of Asia and have been pioneering new routes and itineraries for over 25 years. Our Classic Mekong expedition between Saigon and Siem Reap has been a popular route since 2003 but during this time, we have seen changes in the area as Vietnam and Cambodia become more accessible for tourists. We are delighted that more people can experience this amazing part of Asia, but the increased tourism means that we must continually adapt to ensure we remain ‘off the beaten path.’

With this in mind, we have redesigned our 7-night Classic Mekong expedition, maintaining some of the highlights of our existing trip whilst diverting away from the main crowds and now truly sailing into the heart of the delta region and the local communities. We return to the Tonle Sap River with its narrow winding canals, getting up close and personal with the local villagers that live and work in the floating markets and fish farms which we will visit. We also explore the old Cambodian capital city of Oudong as well as traversing the canals around the picturesque border town of Chao Doc in Vietnam.
